A Brief History
The Embodied Animal started as a seed dream when Vanessa first started caring for animals at a vet clinic in her home state Minnesota. Having taking care of sick and recovering animals for 31/2 years while seeing her own private clients for overnight care and dog walks, she began to dream of running her own pet care business one day. Vanessa dreamed of having a business that valued and cared for employees and made sure to pay them what they and their time were worth. Having worked under several different companies providing pet care services Vanessa learned a lot about the “do’s” and “don’ts” of the business and how to effectively communicate with clients. Vanessa saw the services that were needed most but unavailable to clients through what was offered in other companies and sought to provide quality care to the fur-kidos. As a mother to 3 fur-babes whom Vanessa treats as her family, she knows how stressful it can be to leave your loved ones behind while taking a trip. vanessa seeks to provide peace of mind to her clients by ensuring the fur-children area cared for as if the family had never left the house. This includes house care and typical tasks that may be needed to ensure the safety of the animals is top priority. Vanessa finally landed in Bellingham where she has always imagined running her business. Now growing by a few employees, Vanessa is able to go above and beyond to care for your furry loved ones!
